Praline Pecan Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1 pkg Pillsbury Butter Recipe Cake Mix
  • 1/2 c. soft butter
  • FILLING:
  • 3 (8oz) pkgs cream cheese
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 1 t. rum extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 Heath bars or Skor Bars
  • TOPPING:
  • 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/3 c. caramel ice cream topping

Directions

  1. Oven @ 350

  2. Combine cake mix and butter until crumbly.

  3. Reserve 1 cup for topping.

  4. Press remaining on bottom and sides of ungreased 10 inch springform pan.

  5. Combine cream cheese, sugar, flour and rum extract.

  6. Beat until smooth.

  7. Add eggs and mix well.

  8. Stir in crushed candy.

  9. Pour into pan.

  10. Combine reserved crumbs, brown sugar and pecan.

  11. Sprinkle over filling.

  12. Bake 70-85 mins.

  13. Remove from oven and drizzle with caramel sauce.

  14. Bake an addt’l 8-10 mins to set topping.

  15. Cool 30 mins.
