Butterfinger Angel Food Torte

Ingredients

  • 1 lrg angel food cake
  • 14 sm Butterfingers, crushed
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 2 c. powered sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 t. vanilla
  • 1 pint whipping cream

Directions

  1. Whip cream and place in refrigerator

  2. Beat together butter and powdered sugar; then add the egg yolks and vanilla. Mix well.

  3. To the creamed mix, fold in whipped cream.

  4. Set aside.

  5. Break angel food into bite size pieces and place 1/2 of pieces in 9×13 pan.

  6. Over this, spread 1/2 of the cream layer, then 1/2 Butterfingers.

  7. Repeat layers, ending with Butterfingers on top.

  8. Refrigerate
