Sour Cream Apple Pie a la Paul

Ingredients

  • FILLING:
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 4 c. cooking apples (peeled, cored, sliced)
  • 3 T. flour
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. white sugar
  • TOPPING:
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. hard butter
  • 1 t. cinnamon

Directions

  1. Mix all FILLING ingredients well and place in 8 or 9 inch prepared pastry shell.

  2. Blend TOPPING ingredients in a separate bowl w/ the use of a pastry cutter.

  3. Sprinkle over the top of the pie filling.

  4. Bake @ 450 for 15 mins.

  5. wer oven to 375.

  6. Continue to make for 30 mins or until apples are tender.
