Raisin Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. light brown sugar
  • 2 T flour
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1/8 t. salt
  • 2 T. fresh lemon juice (1 lemon)
  • 1 1/8 c. raisins
  • 1 T. butter

Directions

  1. Mix sugar, flour, and water. Heat to boiling. Keep boiling, add the rest of the ingredients and simmer 10 minutes uncovered, or until thick, stirring frequently.

  2. Add butter, stir until melted, cool slightly, serve.
