Caulibutter Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/3 c. sliced green onions
  • 1/3 c. slivered blanched almonds
  • 1 t. cornstarch
  • 1/4 lb fresh mushrooms, slices
  • 2 t. instant chicken bouillion
  • 1/4 t. bouquet garnish, if desired

Directions

  1. Wash cauliflower and separate into florets.

  2. In pan cook cauliflower in small amount of boiling salted water, covered for 15-20 mins or until tender.

  3. Drain

  4. In skillet, melt butter, stir in mushrooms, onions, almonds and bullion.

  5. Saute in water; stir in butter mixture

  6. Cook, stirring constantly until sauce thickens

  7. 4-6 servings
