Night Before French Toast

Serves 8 people

Ingredients

  • 1 10oz thin French/Italian bread
  • 8 large eggs
  • 3 c. milk
  • 4 t. sugar
  • 1 T. vanilla
  • 2 T. butter cut in pieces

Directions

  1. ease 9×13.

  2. Cut bread into inch cubes and arrange in 1 layer on bottom of pan.

  3. In bowl beat eggs with remaining ingredients except butter.

  4. Pour over bread

  5. Cover with foil and refrigerate 4-6 hours.

  6. Sprinkle butter pieces over top.

  7. Bake uncovered at 350 for 40-50 ins, until bread is puffy and lightly browned.
