Lemon-Grilled Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. fresh dill, snipped or 3/4 tsp. dill weed
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon-pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 salmon fillet (1-1 1/2 lbs.)
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 3 tblsp. chicken broth
  • 3 tblsp. vegetable oil
  • 3 tblsp. soy sauce
  • 3 tblsp. green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 small lemon, thinly sliced
  • 2 onion slices, separated into rings

Directions

  1. Sprinkle dill, lemon-pepper, salt, and garlic powder over salmon; place in a glass container.

  2. Combine brown sugar, broth, oil, soy sauce, and green onions; pour over fish. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hr., turning once.

  3. Drain and discard marinade. Then place salmon skin-side down on grill over medium heat (have also broiled); arrange lemon and onion slices over the top. Cover and cook for 15-20 mins.
