Marie’s Lasagne

Ingredients

  • red sauce
  • white sauce
  • mozzarella cheese
  • parmesan cheese
  • lasagna noodles

Directions

  1. White sauce: In a large saucepan, mix together the butter and flour; simmer and stir with whisk until mixture becomes thick. Then slowly add 1 c.+ milk; continue to stir until mixture resembles loose pudding consistency. Add heavy salt and some pepper (if you can’t taste the salt, it’s not salty enough).

  2. Lasagna: Coat pan with thin layer of red sauce; cover with noodles. Then layer white sauce, red sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan; continue until lasagna is finished. Be sure to end with parmesan.

  3. Cover with foil and cook at 350 degrees for 1 hr, 20 mins. Remove foil and cook for an additional 10 mins.
