Blondie Butterfinger Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 t. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2.5 c. flour
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • 1 t. coarse salt
  • 2 c. chopped Butterfingers
  • BUTTERFINGER BUTTERCREAM:
  • 1/2 c. room temp butter
  • 1/2 c. veg shortening
  • 2.5-3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped butterfingers

Directions

  1. Brownies:

  2. Heat oven to 350

  3. Cream butter and sugars in mixing bowl

  4. add vanilla and eggs and mix until combined

  5. on law, add dry ingredients until just combined

  6. stir in butterfingers

  7. spread in a 9xx13 baking dish for 25 mins until center is JUST set.

  8. Remove and cool

  9. FROSTING:

  10. Cream butter and shortening until smooth

  11. add in powdered sugar on low speed. Turn speed up to medium until smooth

  12. Stir in butterfingers or sprinkle on top.

  13. Spread on cooled brownies
