Pan Seared Tuna with Avocado

Ingredients

  • Vinaigrette:
  • 2 T. soy sauce
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 1 t. sugar
  • 2 T. EVOO
  • 1/2 fresh jalapeƱo, sliced
  • 2 T. cilantro, minced
  • 1 T. Garlic, minced
  • 4 6oz Ahi Tuna steaks
  • 2 avocados, chopped

Directions

  1. Combine vinaigrette.

  2. Heat pan med-high, add EVOO.

  3. Season tuna to taste and add to pan.

  4. Sear 2-3 mins per side, basting with vinaigrette after turning.

  5. Tuna should be med-rare

  6. Serve with avocados an vinaigrette drizzled over tuna.
