Steak Roll-Ups

Cook time: 120 minutes
Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 2 lb Sandwich steak (can use thin sliced round steak pounded out)
  • 2 medium onions, minced
  • 6 slices bacon,cut in 1/2 inch pieces
  • 3 T butter or margarine
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 C flour
  • 1 C water

Directions

  1. Combine onions, bacon, salt and pepper. Place large spoonful of filling in center of each steak. Roll up and fasten with toothpicks, sealing ends securely.

  2. Place flour in medium bowl. Place roll ups in flour to coat thoroughly.

  3. Brown in dutch oven in butter or margarine. Cover with water and cook for 2 hours on low until tender.
