Cream Puffs

Great for sweet and savory eating
Variation…make eclairs with chocolate frosting
1 oz. unsweetened chocolate 1 tsp. butter melt and remove from heat. Stir in 1 c. powdered sugar and 2 tbsp. hot water Beat until smooth.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. flour
  • 4 eggs
  • Vanilla cream pudding and powdered sugar for sweet cream puffs

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400

  2. Heat water and butter to rolling boil

  3. Stir in flour. Stir vigorously over low heat about 1 minute

  4. or until mixture forma a ball. Remove from heat. Beat in eggs, all at one time. continue beating until smooth.

  5. Drop by spoonfuls onto un greased baking sheet.

  6. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Cool away from draft. cut off tops and fill with what ever you want. Replace tops and refrigerate until serving time.
