Chocolate Turtles

Ingredients

  • ~1lb. pecan halves, broken up into large pieces
  • ~2 bags caramels
  • ~Ghirardelli candy making and dipping bar (double chocolate)

Directions

  1. ~melt 2 bags of caramels with 2 tablespoons of water in microwave about 3 minutes on high. Stir and heat more if needed

  2. ~Add pecan pieces until difficult to stir

  3. ~“Drop” teaspoons on parchment paper. Let harden

  4. ~Melt chocolate

  5. ~Dip pecan/caramel pieces in chololate. put on wax paper
