Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter @ room temperature
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup very ripe banana-mashed
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. Cream butter, sugar, and eggs in a mixing bowl. In a seperate mixing bowl , mix bananas, sour cream and vanilla until well blended. Add mixture to the butter,sugar and egg mixture. In a third mixing bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add and mix together with the other ingredients. For best results, do not over mix. Once all ingredients are mixed together. It should be a little lumpy. Pour into a greased bread pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean
