Yogurt

Ingredients

  • 8 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup yogurt

Directions

  1. Heat crockpot on low. Add milk, cover and cook 2-1/2 hours.

  2. Unplug, leave on cover, let sit 3 hours.

  3. Scoop out 2 cups milk and whisk yogurt into it. Stir back into crockpot.

  4. Put lid on, wrap in bath towel and let sit at least 8 hours.

  5. Strain through cheesecloth or jelly bag to make thicker. Strain extra long to make cream cheese or sour cream. Use leftover whey for bagels or bread.
