Linguine with clam sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cans minced clams
  • 1 green pepper-chopped
  • 1 onion-chopped
  • 3 T. fresh parsely-chopped
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic-minced

Directions

  1. saute garlic, onion, pepper in small amt oil (vegetable, olive, canola…whatever)

  2. add juice from clams, parsley and spices…simmer x 15 minutes

  3. add clams

  4. simmer 10 minutes

  5. This is enough sauce for #1/2 of linguine. I probably add more oregano and black pepper. You can also use fresh oregano…
