Chocolate and Banana Protein Bars

Ingredients

  • 200g rolled oats
  • 30g of chocolate whey protein powder
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 medium bananas
  • 1tbs honey
  • 100ml skim or almond milk
  • 1tsp cinnamon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven 180 degrees C.

  2. Whiz oats in a food processor to a flour consistency.

  3. Mix oats, whey protein powder and cinnamon.

  4. Add almond butter and mix thoroughly.

  5. Add egg whites, mashed bananas and honey.

  6. Mix well and add the skim milk.

  7. Pour into a greased 9 × 9 cake tin.

  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

  9. Cut into 8 bars when cool.
