Egg and Sausage Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork sausage
  • 1 8oz package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 10 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 t dried oregano

Directions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 9×13 inch baking dish.

  2. Line the bottom of the dish with crescent roll dough and bake for about 7 minutes (about half-way), then set aside.

  3. Meanwhile, brown sausage in a large, deep skillet over med-high heat. Drain, crumble, and sprinkle over crescent roll dough.

  4. In a large bowl, mix beaten eggs, mozzarella, and cheddar. Season with oregano. Pour egg mixture over the sausage and crescent roll dough.

  5. ce oven temp to 325. Bake 30 minutes in the pre-heated oven or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
