CUBE STEAK AND GRAVY

Ingredients

  • 1 LB CUBE STEAK
  • 1/2 CUP FLOUR
  • 1/2 TSP SALT (I USED 1 TSP)
  • 1/2 TSP PEPPER
  • 1/2 TSP GARLIC POWDER
  • 1/2 TSP ONION POWDER
  • 4 TBS BUTTER
  • 2 CUP BEEF BROTH

Directions

  1. Mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder in a bowl.

  2. Coat meat with flour mixture and fry in skillet with 2 TBS melted butter 5-10 minutes until browned on both sides.

  3. Remove to a plate.

  4. Add 2 TBS butter or slightly more to skillet and melt.

  5. Stir in 2-3 TBS remaning flour mixture.

  6. Whisk in beef broth.

  7. Return meat to skillet and cook on low for 30 minutes.
