Oatmeal Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups boiling wwater
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup margerine, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Brown Sugar Frosting

Directions

  1. Pour water and margerine over oatmeal.

  2. Let sit 20 minutes.

  3. Add sugars and mix.

  4. Add eggs and mix.

  5. Add dry ingredients and mix.

  6. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.

  7. Top with brown sugar frosting.
