Shrimp Creole

Ingredients

  • 1 cup onions
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • dash garlic
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • 2 cups tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 2 cups shrimp

Directions

  1. Cook first 3 ingredients in butter until tender

  2. Add remaining ingredients ( excluding shrimp ) and heat through

  3. Add shrimp just before serving to warm

  4. Serve over rice
