Escalloped Corn – Mrs. McC

Cut in 1/2 for 4 people
Bake in a low flat pan

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb margarine
  • 1 1/2 tsp powdered mustard
  • 1 c flour
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 c regular milk
  • 1 c evaporated milk
  • 1 can kernnel corn (drained well)
  • 1 1/2 c bread crumbs soaked in 1/2 stick margarine

Directions

  1. In double boiler, cook 1st 5 ingredients

  2. Add eggs & worcestershire

  3. Then add milk which has been scalded in a seperate pan

  4. Add corn

  5. Sprinkle with bread crumbs

  6. Bake @ 250’ for 1 hour
