Hot ‘n’ Spicy Chicken Drummies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup red pepper sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 24 chicken drummettes or 12 wings
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
  • 1 cup Original Bisquick
  • 3/4 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • Blue cheese dressing, if desired

Directions

  1. Mix pepper sauce and garlic salt.

  2. Pour over chicken in shallow glass or plastic dish.

  3. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours but no longer than 24 hours.

  4. Heat oven to 450 degrees.

  5. Melt margarine in jelly roll pan, 15 1/2 × 10 1/2 × 1 inch, in oven.

  6. Mix Bisquick, onion, salt, pepper and red pepper.

  7. Remove chicken from sauce;

  8. discard sauce.

  9. Dip chicken in Bisquick to coat.

  10. Place in single layer in pan.

  11. Bake 25 minutes; turn.

  12. Bake 20 to 25 minutes longer or until chicken is golden brown and juice is no longer4 pink when centers of pieces are cut.

  13. Serve with dressing.
