Ingredients
- 1/4 cup shortening, melted or softened butter or margarine
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/3 cup milk
- 3 1/2 cups confectioners sugar

Combine melted shortening, cocoa and salt; then add the milk and vanilla. Stir in the sugar in three parts, mixing until smooth and creamy.. Add more sugar to thicken or nilk to thin until speading consistency
