Scalloped Oysters

Ingredients

  • 1 c fine dried bread crumbs (toasted & rolled)
  • 2 c cracker crumbs (rolled fine)
  • 1 c melted butter (2 sticks)
  • 2 pts oysters
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 4 tbsp oyster liquid
  • 4 tbsp milk

Directions

  1. Mix bread & cracker crumbs.

  2. Add butter.

  3. Put 1/3 of crumbs mixture in the bottom of a buttered baking dish.

  4. Cover with 1 tbsp of each of liquid & milk.

  5. Repeat.

  6. Bake at 400 degrees.
