Kale Salad

  • 1 Apple (shaved thin)
  • 3 tbsp. Candied almonds
  • 3 tbsp. Grated Parmesan
  • 1 1/2 C. Finely sliced kale
  • 1 Lemon juiced
  • 3 tbsp. Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. Togarashi chili
  • Salt to taste


  1. bring almonds to a simmer in water.

  2. Strain almonds and dust with sugar.

  3. Place on sheet tray in a 350-degree oven and bake until the sugar is hard and caramelized.

  4. Cool before chopping in quarters with a knife. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
