Open-Faced Grilled Cheese Sandwich

  • 1 slice multigrain bread
  • 1 oz. Part-Skim Mozzarella, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil or 2-3 leaves fresh
  • 2 slices tomato
  • sea salt
  • pepper


  1. Preheat broiler or toaster oven.

  2. Place basil and tomatoes on bread, top with cheese.

  3. Place under broiler and toast until cheese is golden and bubbling.
