Raw Granola Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 C almonds (soak for 1 h, then discard water)
  • 1 C dates (soak for 1 h, then discard water)
  • 1/2 raisins (dry) - optional
  • 1/2 C shredded coconut
  • 1/2 C sunflower seeds
  • 1/2 C buckwheat groats
  • 2 T sesame seeds
  • 1/3 C ground flax seeds
  • 2 T tahini
  • 2 T honey/agave
  • 2 T coconut oil
  • 1 T vanilla
  • 1 T cinnamon

Directions

  1. Process almonds and dates in food processor (not totally processed – small chunks)

  2. Transfer almond/date mixture to mixing bowl

  3. Add everything else to mixing bowl and mix with spoon/hands.

  4. Spread bars into two dishes (so not too thick).

  5. Dehydrate at 105 for 8 h. (or not)

  6. Can freeze?
