French Vanilla Fruit Salad

A delicious, easy to prepare, adaptable fruit salad with a french vanilla glaze. This is always a huge hit!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans sliced peaches (in juice)
  • 2 cans sliced pears (in juice)
  • 2 cans pineapple chunks (in juice)
  • 2 cans mandarin oranges (in juice)
  • 2 Fuji apples
  • 3 kiwi fruit
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 packages instant french vanilla pudding
  • heavy pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried crushed mint (optional)
  • Any other fruit desired

Directions

  1. Chill cans of fruit overnight.

  2. When ready to prepare, drain canned fruit, reserving 3 cups of juice.

  3. Mix pudding mix and juice, blending well.

  4. Place canned fruit and grapes in large mixing bowl.

  5. Chop apples, bananas, kiwi, and any other fruit you would like in bite-sized chunks and add to bowl.

  6. Pour glaze over fruit. Add mint (if desired) and salt. Blend very gently.

  7. Pour into serving bowl and chill for a minimum of 1 hour before serving.
