Bechamel Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 TB butter
  • 1/4 c finely chp onion
  • 1/4 c flour
  • 4 c milk
  • 1/2 t salt

Directions

  1. Saute onion 6 min.

  2. Add flour and salt, stirring often, about 5 min. til golden and texture of cooked oatmeal.

  3. Add milk til boiling.

  4. Simmer about 10 min.
