Nano’s Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 3 figs
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 lemon or lime, juiced
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pomegranite
  • 4 cups spinach leaves
  • 2 tomato, medium
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Cut everything up however you want and toss it all in a big bowl. Carefully clean the pomegranite and add in the seeds, being careful not to get the yellow rind in the salad— it’s bitter. Add the olive oil and lemon/lime juice last, and toss until the spinach leaves are evenly coated. Add a little honey if the salad is too tart, which can happen if your pomegranite is unripe.
