Asian Broccoli Slaw

Ingredients

  • 3 bags of Ramen Oriental flavored noodles
  • 3/4 stick of butter (I used Smart Balance)
  • 1/4 C. slivered almonds
  • 1/2 C. dried cranberries
  • 1/4 C. sunflower seeds (I used unsalted)
  • 2 Bags broccoli slaw
  • Dressing
  • 3/4 C. Canola oil
  • 1/4 C. brown sugar
  • 1/4 C. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 packet of oriental seasoning from Ramen noodles
  • Whisk together to form a dressing

Directions

  1. Crush two bags of noodles and sauté them with the almonds in butter until lightly browned

  2. Boil 3rd bag of noodles for three minutes and run them under cold water

  3. Place broccoli in a large bowl and toss with boiled noodles, almonds, cranberries and sunflower seeds. Add crushed noodles before dressing.
