Kielbasa Bow Tie Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 ounces) uncooked bow tie pasta
  • 2 pounds smoked kielbasa
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 cups frozen peas, thawed
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, saute sausage, add garlic and cook for one minute longer

  2. Combine cornstarch and milk until smooth; gradually add to the pan. Bring to a boil, cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.

  3. Drain pasta, add to sausage mixture. Stir in peas and cheese, cook until cheese is melted.
