Easy Morning Waffles

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 2 cups 2% milk
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar baking powder, salt and cinnamon. In a small bowl, whisk the egg yolks, milk, oil and vanilla; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. In a small bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; fold into batter.

  2. Bake in preheated waffle iron.
