Weekly Tacos

We eat these just about every week! Any meat or vegetable or type of taco shell can be substituted.

Ingredients

  • garlic
  • ground turkey (or beef or tempeh)
  • cumin seeds
  • cumin powder
  • chili powder
  • onion powder
  • paprika
  • cilantro
  • hot sauce
  • tortillas
  • refried beans
  • cheese
  • lettuce
  • salsa
  • sour cream

Directions

  1. Saute garlic

  2. Add meat and cumin seeds and cook until browned

  3. Add cumin, chili powder, onion powder, paprika.

  4. Add 1 cup of water and bring to a boil

  5. Simmer for a few minutes

  6. Serve meat with tortillas, refried beans, shredded cheese, lettuce, salsa or fresh tomatoes, sour cream

  7. Onion, corn, bell peppers, hot peppers, black olives, and avocado are all nice additions
