Ingredients

  • 1 gallon Apple Cider1/2 gallon
  • Apple Juice
  • 10 whole Cinnamon Sticks (spice)
  • 1 3/4 cups Sugar - can use sugar substitue
  • 3 1/2 cups of Everclear Grain Alcohol

Directions

  1. (Use large stock pot, or two regular large pots. Must hold 2 gallons.)

  2. Combine first three ingredients in pot (keep bottles) – bring to boil and keep at low boil for 15 minutes. Cinnamon sticks should start to uncurl a little.

  3. Turn off heat and stir in 2 ¾ cups sugar.

  4. Let cool completely.

  5. Add 3 ½ cups of Everclear. DO NOT add while mixture is still hot or warm – it will degrade the alcohol level – gasp!

  6. Pour back into Apple Juice and Apple Cider bottles – add cinnamon sticks to each.

  7. Refrigerate overnight for best flavor!

  8. Makes a delicious appley, cinnamony, non-alcoholy tasting shot! I use a turkey baster to put them in test tube shot glasses, but they can be served as regular shots – or if you don’t wanna get up from the campfire so often, pour yourself a glass – LOL!
