Ultimate Quick and Easy Pasta Sauce

Ingredients

  • onion powder
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 14oz. or 1 28oz. can crushed tomatoes (Tuttorosso with basil is good)

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a saucepan.

  2. Bring to a boil.

  3. Reduce heat to low, cook uncovered about 15 minutes.

  4. Makes 3 cups.
