Grilled Pizza

  • 1 lb refrigerated or frozen bread dough, thawed.
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
  • 3/4 c pizza sauce
  • 1 c shredded mozzarella cheese
  • pizza toppings


  1. Heat grill to low heat.

  2. Divide pizza dough in half, shape each piece into an 8" round.

  3. Brush evenly with 1 tbsp oil.

  4. Place pizza rounds, oil side down, directly on grate of grill.

  5. Cook 5-7 minutes until bottoms of crusts are golden brown.

  6. Brush tops with remaining oil, turn over.

  7. Cover each pizza evenly with sauce, then sprinkle each with 1/2 c cheese.

  8. Arrange toppings

  9. Cover grill with lid and grill 5-7 minutes or until bottoms of pizzas are golden brown and cheese is melted.
