Club Cracker Almond Treats

Ingredients

  • 1 sleeve club crackerts (must be club crackers)
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 bag almonds
  • Parchment paper

Directions

  1. 1 box Club crackers, line baking sheets with lip with parchment paper. IN pan, melt 1 stick butter. Wait until butter starts to boil. As soon as it boils, tyurn down heat and add 1/2 cup sugar, stir constantly for a full 2 minutes (not on high heat). Remove from heat. Add vanilla. Mix until completely enmeshed and even consistency.

  2. With a pastry brush, brush whole recipe of syrup on the crackers. Drop a glo on each cracker. then go back and brush it out. then pour the rest of the pan of sugary mixture over the brush out over all the crackers. Sprinkle one package of slivered almonds over all. Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes. Only until golden.
