Stuffed Shells

Ingredients

  • 14 large pasta shells
  • 1 lb bulk Italian sausage
  • 3/4 lb burger
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups shred mozzarella
  • 3 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 4 cups spaghetti sauce (2 jars)
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Cook shells according to package.

  2. In large skillet, cook meats, onion and garlic.

  3. Drain excess grease.

  4. Remove from heat and cool for 10 minutes.

  5. Drain and rinse shells in cold water.

  6. Stir mozzarella, cream cheese and salt into meat mixture.

  7. Spread 2 cups spaghetti sauce in bottom of greased 13X9 baking dish.

  8. Stuff each shell with meat mixture and place in dish.

  9. Pour remaining sauce over shells and sprinkle with parmesan.

  10. Cover and bake at 350 for 40 minutes,

  11. Uncover and bake 5 – 10 minutes longer.
