SPICED MAPLE BUTTERCREAM

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 5 tbsp. butter, softened
  • 1/2 c. maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin-pie spice
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 (32 oz.) package confectioners' sugar

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese and butter. Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add maple syrup, beating after each addition, until smooth. Add pumpkin-pie spice and salt. Gradually add confectioners’ sugar, beating until smooth.

  2. Makes about 4 cups.
