Chickpea of the Sea Spread

  • 15 oz can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1 TBSP lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup mayo or salad dressing
  • 2 TBSP pickle relish


  1. Place beans in food processor and process until coarsely chopped.

  2. Place in bowl. Add celery, onions,lemon juice, mayo and pickle relish.

  3. Mix well. Chill for 1 hour before serving.
