Best Sugar Cookie Recipe

I use this one all the time, no other. Makes perfect cut out cookies.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 8 minutes

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups flour
Directions

Cream together butter and sugar

Beat in 1 egg

Combine and add vanilla and flour

Mix until ingredients are well blended

Chill dough 3 to 4 hrs. before rolling

Preheat oven to 350, roll out and cut

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until barely brown
