Fettucini with Ham and Peas

Ingredients

  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 3 TBS butter
  • 2 cups thinly sliced mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups cooked ham,cut in strips
  • 1 cup thawed frozen peas
  • 12 oz fettucini
  • 1 cup grated parmesal
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Directions

  1. Cook fettucini until al dente

  2. saute onion in butter til soft

  3. add mushrooms,brown lightly.

  4. Stir in cream, simmer 2 minutes.

  5. Add ham and peas.

  6. Cook until heated through, about 3 minutes.

  7. Stir in Parmesan. Add sauce to fettucini

  8. add pepper, toss, serve
