Donna’s Spinach/sausage quiche

Ingredients

  • 1 pastry crust. Store bought ok
  • 1 lb sausage - pre cooked, crumbled, and drained well
  • 1 pkg frozen spinach - microwaved til thawed and well drained.
  • 1 C milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbs flour
  • 2 C cheddar cheese -grated
  • 1/2 teas salt
  • However much pepper you want.

Directions

  1. Mix the grated cheese in a bowl with 2 T of flour…stir well.

  2. In another bowl, whisk the eggs and add the milk, spinach, sausage, cheese, salt and pepper. Mix all ingredients well.

  3. Pour into floured pie pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. No need to cover.

  4. I always make two of them at a time. They’re just as good warmed up in the microwave the next day.
