Apple Crumble

Ingredients

  • 300g plain flour
  • 225g brown sugar
  • 200g butter
  • 450g cooking apples

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180C

  2. Mix flour and sugar

  3. Add butter a bit at a time and mix well with your fingers

  4. Peel, core, and cut the apples into slices in a large pan with water, and add100g sugar

  5. Boil apples until soft

  6. Spoon apples into a greased overproof dish, and add crumble mix on top

  7. Bake in over for 40-45 minutes or until apple is bubbling and crumble is brown
