Grilled Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe beefsteak tomatoes, cut in half crosswise
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 1 T fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/4 c grated parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Brush tomatoes w/olive oil on both sides, and season cut side w/salt & pepper. Place cut side down on the grill, and cook 1 to 2 minutes. Turn, and top tomatoes w/thyme and parmesan, then cook 1 additional minute
