Shortbread Cookies

(from Theresa Loving’s recipe box)

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 lb. butter
  • nuts
  • chocolate

Directions

  1. Mix butter, sugar and vanilla; cream well. Add flours and nuts. After mixed, put in rolls. Wrap in wax paper or Saran Wrap and refrigerate overnight. Cut into 1/4 inch thick rectangles. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes.
