Gravy

Ingredients

  • Meat juices from roasted meat
  • 3-4 tbsp. reserved fat), return to pan
  • Enough Water, broth or milk w/ juices = 2c
  • 1/4 c flour
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Skim off 3-4 tbsp. fat, return to pan.

  2. Add water, broth or milk to juices to = 2c.

  3. Stir flour into fat & cook over low until bubbly.

  4. Remove from heat, add 2c liquid. Stir.

  5. Return heat over medium. Cook/stir until

  6. thick and bubbly. Then cook 1-2 min. more.

  7. Add salt and pepper.
