Ingredients

  • 2 12-oz pkg Johnsonville Original Recipe Ground Breakfast Sausage
  • 9 Eggs
  • 3 C Milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp Ground Mustard
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 30-oz pkg Frozen Country-style Hash Browns, thawed
  • 2 C Shredded 4-cheese Mexican Blend Cheese
  • 1/2 C Diced Red Bell Pepper
  • 1/3 C Thinly Sliced Green Onions
  • Salsa (optional)

Directions

  1. Arrange sausages on an ungreased 15-in.×10-in.×1-in. baking pan.

  2. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15-20 minutes

  3. Turn links once or until sausage is cooked through and lightly browned

  4. Drain.

  5. Allow to cool slightly.

  6. Slice sausage into 1/4 -inch coins.

  7. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk and seasonings.

  8. Add sausage, hash browns, cheese, bell pepper and onions.

  9. Pour into a greased 13-in.×9-in.×2-in. baking dish.

  10. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

  11. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.

  12. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees F for 65 to 70 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

  13. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

  14. Serve with salsa or picante sauce.
